I spent nearly a decade working at a Global Fortune 500 Company. I began as an associate software developer and quickly became a senior software engineer and eventually, a solution architect, with specialized certifications in data architecture and technical leadership. I founded Möbius to bring my passion for solution architecture and technical development to small and medium sized businesses. Outside of work, I enjoy reading and bird watching, as well as spending time with my three dogs and my partner, Will.
About Möbius
The name Möbius comes from the name of the mathematical object, a Möbius strip, which is a loop formed by attaching the ends of a strip of paper together with a half twist. There are many ways in which a Möbius strip is mathematically significant, but my favorite feature of a Möbius strip is that it is non-orientable, meaning that it is not possible to consistently distinguish between clockwise and counterclockwise turns. This phenomenon is illustrated in the graphic included on this page. I find the technology space to be very similar to a Möbius strip, particularly in the sense that no matter the path a business is travelling along, it will find its needs re-orienting. Thus, the name Möbius Technical Consulting LLC was born.
